Provided an assessment and developed the Strategic Technology plan for a 35,000 resident city government.  Assessment included infrastructure, applications, policies & procedures, staff roles and responsibilities, interdepartmental interaction, and disaster recovery planning.  Plan resulted in a number of recommendations being implemented that significantly improved IT department performance, system uptime and interdepartmental support. 

Developed the Strategic Technology Plan for a national distributor that would support the business goal of doubling in size in less than 5 years.

Identified and evaluated the options for a global logistics provider to develop a new business solution that would support clients transportation management needs from “dock to dock” and involve coordinating ship-rail-truck requirements.

Worked with the executive staff of a specialty medical practice to develop and implement a technology strategy that improved the organization’s practice and the quality of life for the physicians. The strategic plan covered improving how the radiologists worked, the workstations they used, how they accessed the healthcare systems they supported, and how they communicated with each other, their referring physicians, and their patients. The implemented plan improved radiologists access to and use of efficient technology as well as providing a 7/24 support structure that worked with the various vendors and integrated third party health care systems to help keep the physicians focus on patient care.
